The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE ALKHAM ALKHAM 4/3 Granary about 20 metres south east of Hogbrook GV II Granary. Early Cl9. Timber framed and weatherboarded with slate roof. Two bays; raised on 12 staddle stones, with hipped roof. Central half-doors. Included for group value.
