The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE ALKHAM ALKHAM VALLEY ROAD (north side) 4/8 Two headstones about 10 metres south of Church of St Anthony GV II Two headstones. Thomas Valyer, d.1736. About 2 ½ feet high, with double segmental and moulded head with 2 skulls and crossed sickles. Margaret Valyer, d.1756. About 2½ feet high, with triple shaped head and 2 coffins, scallop and palm fronds.
