The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE ALKHAM SLIP LANE (west side) 4/22 Gate piers and walls about 50 metres east of The Old Rectory GV II Gate piers and walls. C18 and early C19. Red brick and flint, brown brick and dressed stone. Two brick piers with stone caps and ribband decorated urns with short quadrant walls of flint and brick to left and right, about 5 feet high and each about 5 feet in length, terminated by piers of brown brick. Single leaf wrought iron gate.
