The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 34 NW LANGDON EAST LANGDON east side
2/24 The Rectory GV II
House. Early C18 remodelled in part early C19. Red and buff brick and plain tiled roof. Two parallel ranges with double span roof on plinth in part of flint with plat band to left at 2 levels and boxed eaves to hipped roof with stacks to end left, left and to right. Four glazing bar sashes in moulded surrounds on each floor, and central door of 6 raised and fielded panels. The top 2 glazed, with moulded surround with pediment on brackets. Rendered outshot at left with 1 glazing bar sash. The plinth underlies the whole front which however is built up in 3 different sections. The left end section was used as the parish room and with large baking oven for the parish bakery, when the building was the Rectory.
