Summary
Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1800 to 1832 House built in 1813, by Sir John Soane for Reverend John Monins, with an early 19th century extension. The house is built of buff brick with a slate roof and a large central stack. The centre of the building projects slightly and has been rendered. A stable block dating from 1806 that used to stand within the curtilage of the listed building was demolished in 1985
