Gymnasium and swimming pool. 1909 by Sir Henry Tanner. Pebbledashed with red brick dressings and with plain tiled roof. Main block an imitation Roman basilica with buttressed sides, modillion eaves cornice to half-hipped roof with range of corner lights along whole length. Gauged Diocletian windows in gable above entrance narthex/porch, with circular windows either side of half-glazed doors with semi-circular fanlights and segmented pediments. Side elevations with rows of Diocletian windows. Connecting block with glazing bar sashes either side of half glazed doors with flat cornice hood. Interior being restored at time of survey.
