(east side) 9/277 No 2 (Rose Cottage)

House. Early C17. Timber framed and exposed close studding with plaster infill and underbuilt on front elevation with red brick. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and hipped roof with central stack cluster. Two wooden casements on each floor, and boarded door to left. Interior: clasped purlin roof. Originally 2 bay lobby entry plan, the doorway subsequently moved to left.
