The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ASH TR 2858 THE STREET (south side) 10/80 Pair of tomb chests about 30 metres south of S. transept of Church of St Nicholas GV II
Tomb chests. Early C19. Coleman family, 3 steps to square monument on moulded base. Trefoiled comer piers topped with incised roses. Fluted frieze over oval and square panels, with shell decorated corner pieces. Hatfield family, tomb chest on 2 steps, with urn-shaped corner piers, and moulded side panels, those at the end with recesses for (lost) brass plates.
