The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ASH TR 26 SE WESTMARSH 2/104 The Russet House GV II
House. Dated 1735. Painted brick and plain tiled roof. Two storeys with dogtooth cornice to roof with kneelered parapet gables and stacks at end left and end right. Two sashes on each floor, segmental headed on ground floor. Central boarded door with segmental head and flat hood. Date plaque over door inscribed J Single storey C20 R H 1735. extension to left with bay window. Catslide outshot to rear.
