The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NONINGTON ST. ALBANS COURT TR 25 SE 3/162 Gate piers and flanking walls about 11.6.86 40 metres N.E. of stable court, St.Albans Court GV II Gate piers and flanking walls. Circa 1875 by George Devey. A pair of brick and stone octagonal gate piers with stepped coping flanks the drive, each pier flanked in turn by low brick and partly stone wall with coping.
