GOODNESTONE THE STREET TR 25 SE (West side) 3/100 Church Cottages
GV II House pair. Early C19 rebuilding of c1700 building. Red and brown brick with slate roof. Two storeys on plinth with dogtooth cornice to roof with stacks to centre and to left and right. Four Dering windowson each floor with rib and stud doors to left and to right both in kneelered gabled porches with semi-circular headed openings on imposts. A typical Goodnestone estate style reworking of an earlier building. The right return brickwork contains many distorted molten and misfired bricks.
