The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NONINGTON HOLT STREET TR 25 SE (north west side) 3/136 Holt Street Farmhouse and garden wall 13.10.52 GV II House. C17 altered mid C19. Red brick in irregular bond the upper storey part rebuilt in brown brick in Flemish bond. Tile hung left return elevation. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with brick dentil eaves cornice to hipped roof with 3 hipped dormers and stacks at end left , to centre left and at end right. Irregular fenestration of 5 wooden casements on first floor, alternately 3 and 2 light, and 2 segmentally headed wooden casements on ground floor with canted bay to right. Half-glazed door to centre right in gabled porch. The tile hung side elevation and parts of the upper floor rebuilt after bomb damage in W.W.II. Projecting from the centre left is a contemporary wall of red brick in irregular bond about 3'6" in height projecting about 30 yards and including a small C20 wrought iron gate.
