The following text is from the original listed building designation:
AYLESHAM RATLING TR 25 SW 2/8 Barn at Ratling Court Farm 14.5.84 GV II Barn.C18. Timber framed and weather boarded on red brick base with thatched roof and plain tiles around streys. Half-hipped roof with 2 gabled streys. Interior; 6 bays with aisles and straight quadrant braces to arcade posts. Clasped purlin roof.
