Quernstone, probably Roman and thought to have been found in Upnor village. Reportedly made of Hertfordshire pudding-stone, and being similar to another such quern exhibited in the Roman room at Eastgate House also found in Upnor.

Full Description
"MR. J. R. KILLICK has shown me the upper stone of a quern, which he has recently obtained from UPNOR village. It is of Hertfordshire pudding-stone, exactly similar to the one exhibited in the Roman room at Eastgate House, and which came from the same locality......." (1)
