The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EYTHORNE BARFRESTONE TR 25 SE 3/19 Little Ewell (formerly listed as The 11.10.63 Rectory) GV II House. Mid C18. Red brick with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with stacks to left and to right and 2 hipped dormers. Regular fenestration of 5 glazing bar sashes on first floor and 4 on ground floor with gauged heads and flying cornice. Central half- glazed door in C19 gabled porch. The house was built (as a Rectory) with £200 from Queen Anne's Bounty and £200 from St. John's College Oxford (the patron) mid to late C18. (See Hasted, X, 9.77).
