LOWER ROAD, CRABBLE 1. (North East Side) 1050 The Royal Oak Public House arid Royal Oak Cottage TR 2943 5/58

2. An L-shaped block of which the exterior is late C18 to early C19 but beneath this is probably a timber-framed building, as in the passage between the houses some timber-framing (white-washed) is visible in the north wall of Royal Oak Cottage on the ground floor. 2 storeys and half-hipped gable to the Inn with 2nd floor window in it. Flint with red brick dressings and quoins. 4 windows.
