Summary
A silver torc with a hinged back and expanding pieces attached was found at Hoo in the late 19th century. The torc was in a poor condition but was still sold by Sotheby's to a private collector. Present whereabouts unknown.

Full Description
[Marginal] A silver torque hinged at the back and with expanding pieces attached, found at Hoo, in bad condition. Bought by 'Rollins' at Southeby's sale, in the late H. Wickham's Collection, 29.6.1894 (1). This torque was not bought by Maidstone Museum, but for private collection. Its present whereabouts is not known (2). Additional references (3,4).
