Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NE LYDDEN CANTERBURY ROAD (south side) 2/81 Wellington House 22.8.62 GV II House. C18, in 2 stages. Red brick with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and parapet to hipped roof with stacks to left and to centre right. Originally regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes with cambered heads on first floor, 2 on ground floor, with central door of 6 raised and fielded panels with semi-circular fanlight at head of flight of 5 steps with simple iron rail. Extended to right with 1 cambered headed glazing bar sash on first floor, and canted bay with basement opening to right. Hipped rear wings.
