The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE HOUGHAM ABBEY ROAD (south side) 4/68 Well-house about 6.2.79 20 metres south of St. Radegund's Abbey Farmhouse GV II Well house. C18. Flint with red brick dressings and plain tiled roof. Hipped roof with outshots to north and south, the latter with half-glazed door. Interior: well and donkey wheel.
