The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NONINGTON VICARAGE LANE TR 25 SE (west side) 3/167 Hatchetts II House. Circa 1830. Buff brick with slate roof. Two storeys on plinth with plat band and modillion eaves cornice to hipped roof with stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on first floor (the central one only actually a window) and tripartite glazing bar sashes to ground floor left and right of central half-glazed door with large architectural surround with Doric pilasters, triglyph frieze and modillion cornice. Left return with 2 projecting window bays and 2 recessed with 4 glazing bar sashes on first floor and 1 single and 3 tripartite on ground floor. Later C19 coachhouse attached to right return elevation. Interior; panelling and geometric stair reported and early C19 automatic earth closet.
