Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE ALKHAM ALKHAM VALLEY ROAD (north side) 4/7 Headstone to John White about 5 metres south of Church of St Anthony GV II Headstone to John White, d.1760. About 2½ feet high with scrolled and floriate sides to cornice. Decorated with central figure of John White flanked by hourglass, bribing the figure of life to the left with a bag of gold, and turning his back to Death (a skeleton, to right).
