Timber framed house, refronted in C18 and later, but partly retaining the overhang of its 1st floor on bressummer. 2 storeys. 1 window facing High Street, 1 window facing Short street, ground floor red brick, above brown roughcast. Sash window (glazing bars intact) on ground floor of east front only. Other windows casements.
Nos 54 to 60 (even) with Nos 21, 27 and 29 and Outhouse King Street form a group.
