The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EYTHORNE SHEPHERDSWELL ROAD TR 24 NE 4/38 Barn about 40 metres 3.11.86 north-west of Eythorne Court (Eythorne Barn) GV II Barn. C16 and mid C18. Timber framed and weatherboarded with side elevations of painted brick with slated roof. Half-hipped roof to right with 3 raking mid-streys. Interior: 2 periods of building, to left (south) 4 bays with aisles and terminal outshot with passing shores to arcade posts and clasped purlin roof. To north, 7 bays with aisles, and clasped purlin roof. Full hip to the left.
