Summary
A linear cropmark identified on aerial photograpsh taken in 1979 is the remains of a post medieval field boundary. It is depicted on the 1870 Ordnance Survey Map and had been removed by 1896. This record was reviewed as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.

Full Description
Thin straight linear cropmark, probably non-archaeological but interpretation difficult becasue of background noise. Runs 79027352 - 79117342. (1) This cropmark is of a post medieval field boundary which is depicted on the 1870 Ordnance Survey Map cantred on TQ 7906 7347. It had been removed by 1896. This record was reviewed as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.(
