Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOODNESTONE ROWLING TR 25 SE 3/79 Lower Rowling Farmhouse GV II House. Early C19. Buff coloured bricks to front elevation, brown bricks elsewhere. Slate roof. Two storeys with moulded cornice and parapet to hipped roof with stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on first floor and 2 on ground floor with rendered cambered heads. Central double door each with 3 raised and fielded panels, with high quality traceried fanlight and sidelights in large Doric porch with 3 moulded steps. Two storey bows on left and right return with 1 glazing bar sash on each floor. Lower 2 storey wings to rear. Interior: stair on dogleg/ half landing plan with unturned balusters and wreathed handrail.
