Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RUSSELL STREET (East Side) Nos 1 to 7 (consec), GII Listed Building. No 1 is dated 1836. 3 storeys and basement with area. Ground floors are stuccoed, the upper floors are painted brick. No 4 has been refaced with roughcast. Stuccoed cornice. One window each, the end houses have 2 windows. Iron balconies on 1st floor. Most glazing bars are missing but Nos 1, 2, 3 and 5 retain slightly curved windows with glazing bars intact on the ground floor. The other houses have modern bays instead. Round-headed doorcases with fluted jambs like quarter columns and semi-circular fanlights. Between Nos 3 and 4 is a large flat arch with carriage way through. The window over it is part of No 4. Nos 1 to 8 (consec) form a group. Listing NGR: TR3210641525 (1)
