(west side) 9/309 The White Cottage Restaurant

House, now restaurant. C16 altered and extended early C18. Timber framed and clad with painted brick with thatched roof. Hall house plan. One storey and attic on plinth with roof hipped to left with stack to right. Two swept dormers. Wooden casement to centre right under eaves and 4 segmentally headed wooden casements. Two rib and stud doors to centre left. Catslide outshot to rear. Interior; evidence of jetty to north (end right) bay with cross passage, Crown post roof with smoke blackening.
