The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RIPPLE SUTTON TR 34 NW Terrace wall and 7/72 walled garden adjacent to Winklandoaks Farmhouse.
GV II
Walls. Mid to late C17. Red brick in "Minster" bond in part on flint base. Wall to front terrace, about 5 metres east of house, about 6 feet high op flint base, with gate piers to front of house with flint panels and stone capping about 60 metres in extent north to south. Walled garden to south and west of house, about 100 metres by 100 metres, averaging about 6 feet in height, with gate piers at south east corner of clustered piers.
