4/17 The Mill House
GV II
House. Late C17 and mid C18. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Rear elevation and end right bay exhibit much older brickwork. Two storeys on plinth with plat band on right end bay. Gable to the left and half-hipped roof to right with stack to centre right and end left. Two glazing bar sashes with central oval window on first floor and 2 glazing bar sashes with cambered heads on ground floor with central door of 6 raised and fielded panels with pediment on pilasters. Right end bay with 1 wooden casement on each floor. Single and 2 storey ranges adjoin to right and form a linking wing to the White House (item 4/18).
