The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NORTHBOURNE THE STREET TR 35 SW (north side) 4/37 Mausoleum about 40 metres northwest of Church of St. Augustine
GV II
Mausoleum of Hannam family. Late C19. Brown brick and flint and rendered roof. Originally in a railed enclosure, only the base now survives. Flint side walls and brick corner piers support barrel vault roof with kneelered gable ends and brick cornice. Inscriptions on corner piers.
