7/55 Old Farm House, Ripple Court

House. Dated 1647, and extended late C18. Painted brick with slate roof. Rectangular block with smaller parallel wing added to rear. Two storeys on plinth with plat band and brick eaves cornice to double span roof with central stack. Entry in east elevation of rear range, a boarded door. Irregular fenestration of wooden casements. (West) gable end with very large iron wall ties reading: 1647, originally IGE, on centre letter now misplaced. I E
