3/104 Thornton Farmhouse and forecourt wall
II
House. C17. Red brick in irregular bond on flint base with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic with basement on plinth with plat band with stacks projecting at end left and at end right and 2 gabled dormers. Three wooden casements on first floor and2 on ground floor with small wooden casement to left of central kneelered gabled porch. Plank and stud door with early iron head knocker and ring hands. Basement opening to left. Hipped rear wing. Brown brick forecourt wall, about 3 feet high, with corner piers and gate pier, enclosing an area extending about 5 metres in front of the entrance elevation.
