TR 303515. St Mary's Grove Cottage, Tilmanstone is built of timber and brick with one storey and an attic of medieval origin; built as small one-storey house of two rooms; chimney and floor inserted in the17th century; part rebuilding and refronting took place in the 18th and 19th century. (1) St. Mary's Grove, St Mary's Grove (North side), Tilmanstone. 4/110 Grade II House. Late C17. Red brick, in part painted, the gables on side elevations tile hung, with plain tiled roof. One storey and attic on plinth with shaped gabled roof with stacks at end left and at end right, with 2 gabled dormers. Two metal casements on ground floor with boarded door to right in gabled porch, with moulded four centred arched outer doorway. Single storey. Contemporary rear wing. (2)
