Full Description
[TQ 74087077] Large amphora (like Lockham Wood, example - [RO Cemetery - TQ 75 SE 2]) and iron lamp found 3rd September 195[?] Donor Mr. G. Tree [?] Maidstone. Found by Tractors Hire Civil Engineering Co. making roads for estate development, 9' 6" down. [Part of the annotation has been trimmed off during the binding of the maps.] (1) Found in 1955. Siting of find only accurate to about 40 yards (2). Additional refernces (3,4).
