The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BEACH STREET 1. 1035 (West Side) No 149 (Beachcrest) TR 3753 SE 2/207 II GV 2. Circa 1860. 3 storeys stuccoed. Parapet and moulded bracket cornice. 2 sashes with verticals only set in moulded architraves and with hood moulding above. The ground floor has glazing bars intact. Single left side doorcase with flat cornice above and 7 panelled door. Nos 145 to 155 (odd) form a group.
