The following text is from the original listed building designation:
FARRIER STREET 1. 1035 (South Side) Nos 2 and 4 TR 3753 SE 2/264 II GV 2. Early to mid C19 pair. 3 storeys and basement. No 2 is yellow brick, No 4 is red brick. 2 sashes to No 4, 1 to No 2 with verticals only. Paired doorcase with plain pilasters, cornices and scrolled console brackets. Rectangular fanlights and 3 panelled doors. Nos 2 and 4 form a group wih No 119 Middle Street.
