Summary
Building 69 (guardhouse), North Barracks. Early 19th century guardhouse with a rendered late 19th century extension to the left of the front. In the 20th century a verandah, with reused 19th century cast-iron columns, was added to the front. Built of yellow stock brick with rubbed brick headers, Portland stone dressings and a hipped slate roof. The single-storey building has a single depth plan
