SUTTON LITTLE MONGEHAM TR 35 SW
4/98 Outbuilding about 15 metres east of Little Mongeham House
GV II
Outbuilding, probably originally coach house, sometime village school. Early C19. Buff brick and slate roof. One storey with large kneelered gable on entrance front, with 2 elliptical recesses either side of central double rebated semi-circular headed recess, with blocked entry, wooden casement over, and wooden casements to either side. Interior: plain and empty of detail, but structurally unaltered, with trussed roof. Included for group value. The stable courtyard attached was contemporary with the coach house and main house, but has been extensively altered and rebuilt, no longer listable.
