Poss 3 sides of rectilinear enclosure. (1)

Crop mark of possible enclosure fragment (angled) sited to TQ 7351 7439 from good quality air photographs. Unknown date (site no. KE 172.1.2) (2)

A possible incomplete rectilinear ditch-defined enclosure of uncertain date seen as cropmarks at TQ 7352 7437 in the field to the south of tThe Grange, west of the Town Road. These features were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The site appears as two sides (western and southern) joined by a right angled corner. These sides measured 50m and 56m in length. An additonal 58m long ditch running roughly parallel to the western side, possibly forming the eastern side of the enclosure, could be seen c.87m to the east. There is the faint trace of a possible inner ditch on the southern side. (3-6)
