2. The Walling along Cottage Row from the rear of No 75 Strand Street consists of flint and stone with some Roman and some C16 bricks. Probably originally mediaeval but altered in part in the C16 and early C19, where one section is of red brick. Lowered in 2 parts where Creighton Flats and reduced to 2 ft high where return to School Lane. General approximate height 7 ft by about 90 ft long.
