The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 34 NW LANGDON EAST LANGDON west side
2/28 Church farm house 22.8.66 and wall attached GV II
House. Late C17, rebuilt in part C19. Painted brick in part in Minster bond and plain tiled roof. L shaped plan,two storeys. The elevations in 2 builds that to right (entrance) with projecting end right stack, 2 C20 metal casements on each floor with segmental heads on ground floor and central half-glazed doorway in glazed passage. The left hand block, which is returned and projects to front left with 1 storey and attic, has a plat band, with kneelered gables, blocked segmentally headed mullioned windows. 1 flat dormer in projecting wing and slate roofed outshot on right elevation of wing. The wing is extended by C19 outhouses of brick and weather boarding. Left return (roadside) with flint plinth, plat band, mullioned windows and kneelered gable wall to rear of house of flint and rubble, extends about 20 metres along roadside to churchyard gate, and contains boarded door adjacent to house.
