The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 NW DENTON AND WOOTTON SHELVIN LANE (west side) 1/57 Ardmore 13.7.79 GV II House. Mid C18, extended late C20. Painted brick with plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth with stack at end right. Originally 3 wooden casements on first floor, 2 on ground floor and central boarded door, additional 2 storey extension to left with 1 wooden casement on each floor, separated from main block by large buttress. Catslide outshot to rear.
