The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 24 SE ALKHAM SLIP LANE (east side) 4/21 Malmains Manor 22.8.62 II House. C16 or earlier, clad early C19. Timber framed origin, clad with rendered brick and flint with plain tiled roof. Two storeys with moulded plat band and parapet with kneelered gables to roof and stack to centre left. Four glazing bar sashes on first floor and 2 canted bays on ground floor with glazing bar sash to right on ground floor. Double panelled door to centre left with traceried semi-circular fanlight in porch with fluted Doric columns. Glazed brick conservatory to left with tripartite glazing bar sash and half-glazed door.
