The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOODNESTONE STAPLE ROAD TR 25 NE (south side) 1/87 Barn about 15 metres south east of Little Twitham Farm Cottage
GV II Barn. Circa 1700. Timber framed on red brick base and weather boarded with thatched roof. Outshot to right clad with brick and corrugated iron. Roof hipped to left and half-hipped to right with raking mid-strey. Interior: 3 bays with aisles with quadrant braces to arcade posts and clasped purlin roof.
