Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
Nos 7 and 8 St Mary's Convent (south west side), Maison Dieu Road, Dover, GII Listed Building. Mid C19. 3 storeys and basement stock brick. 3 dormers. 6 sashes with glazing bars intact. 3 brick pilasters. The ground floor has 2 doorcases, the left side doorcase has a cornice with modillions, 2 plain pilasters rectangular fanlight and panelled door. The right side doorease has a porch with a cornice, 2 fluted Doric columns and 2 pilasters and a moulded architrave. Steps to street. Area railings. Nos 2 to 8 (consec) form a group. (1)
