The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOODNESTONE THE STREET TR 25 SE (West side) 3/94 Stable block about 20 metres south of the Dower House GV II Stable block. C17, altered early C19. Red brick, in English bond, with plain tiled roof. One storey and loft with corbelled brick eaves to hipped roof with hipped loft dormer, stack to rear left and 2 ventilator heads to centre and to right. Three inserted 2 light Dering windows, and large cart doors at end left, with central boarded door with rectangular fanlight.
