Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOODNESTONE THE STREET TR 25 SE (West side) 3/96 Lindley House GV II House. Early C19. Red brick in 2 builds, with plain tiled roof. Three storeys on plinth, with single pilaster buttress to left. Brick corbelled eaves to roof with moulded stack cluster to centre right. Irregular fenestration of 3 wooden casements on second floor, 2 on first floor with 1 metal casement in between these 2 storeys. Four wooden casements on ground floor with segmental heads with 1 blocked opening, and 4 recessed panels, that to right with later window insertion. Boarded door to left, rib and stud door with rectangular fanlight to right. Rear facade with full height gabled central porch with Dering windows on each floor.
