The following text is from the original listed building designation:
GOODNESTONE CHILLENDEN TR 25 SE 3/55 Barn about 30 metres east of Chillenden Court Farm House GV II Barn. C17. Red brick, on rear and return elevations in English bond, otherwise irregular Flemish bond. Corrugated asbestos roof. Half-hipped roof with hipped storey to centre left. The brick walls, on plinths, are pierced with ventilation slits, with large inserted wooden framed windows to centre and to right. Interior: 6 bays with terminal outshots. Passing shores to arcade posts. Renewed clasped purlin roof. Inner reveals of ventilation slits with triangular brick heads.
