The following text is from the original listed building designation:
NONINGTON OLD COURT HILL TR 25 SE 13.10.52 (west side) 3/150 Farthingales (formerly listed as The Stores) GV II House, sometime house and shop. C15 and extended mid Cl9. House timber framed and exposed close studding with plaster infill with large panel framing to return elevation. Plain tiled roof. Shop wing timber framed and weather boarded with plain tiled roof. One storey and attic on rendered plinth with mid-rail/bressumer and hipped roof with stacks to end left and clustered to centre right and with 1 gabled dormer. Four light mullioned window, 4 light oriel and 2 light wooden casement on ground floor with boarded doors to left and to centre right. Mullioned window on right return. Shop extension with 2 storeys, hipped roof and rear stack. Two sashes on first floor and multi-paned shop window with central double doors and boarded door at left.
