ASH TR 2858 THE STREET (south side) 10/82 Chest tomb for Wood family, about 3 metres south east of chancel of Church of St. Nicholas GV II
Chest tomb. Late C18 for Wood family. Stone. Two steps to moulded base, with urn shaped corner piers and moulded oval and square side panels with fluted fan decoration. Quatrefoil shaped recesses on end panels for lost brasses.
